Overview

Aligned to the Singapore SkillsFuture Framework for Financial Services, in Investment and Financial Management Category, at Trading Management Proficiency Level 3 (FSE-BIN-3137-1.1), Options Income Machine Programme (OIMP) is a financial literacy education programme, that aims to equip participants with the knowledge and abilities necessary to function as a trader or fund manager in the financial sector, with specialisation in Options as a financial instrument with the objective to generate income for the clients. 

Course Objective      

At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to perform trades in accordance to assigned trade plans and strategies:

-      Options, asset pricing, valuation and income strategies

-      Fundamental analysis of financial instruments

-      Market Indices and benchmarks

-      Risks and control methodologies

-      Trade documentation processes

-      Hedging strategies and principles

-      Applications and assumptions of technical analysis

-      Execute trade by completing buy or sell orders

-      Monitor global trends and developments

-      Analyse trades’ cost of capital and returns versus risks considerations

-      Identify, assess and mitigate operational risk resulting from any adverse impact of trades performed

-      Support all post-trade execution processes

-      Complete trade documentation

-      Gather accurate qualitative and quantitative data for analysis and make investment recommendations
